A Viennese New Year

The Oregon Symphony and guests from Oregon Ballet Theatre get a jump on New Year’s Eve activities by performing on Monday night. Visit the glittering palaces of Austria in a celebration of the golden age of Viennese music with operatic melodies and Strauss waltzes and performances by dancers from Oregon Ballet Theatre.

Native American Pow Wow

It’s the 34th year for the annual Sobriety Powwow held on New Year’s Eve. Thousands of Native Americans and guests close out the year with drum circles, songs, dancing and traditional foods. Youth games and activities are also featured.

Funky New Year’s Skating Eve

Orenco Station Plaza hosts a New Year’s Eve skate party with recorded disco and funk music. Dress up or wear a skating-friendly costume. All ages.

New Year’s Eve at Mt. Hood Meadows

Perhaps you like to finish off the year in a more active way. How about some downhill skiing and fireworks? Mt. Hood Meadows offers a late-night party with night lifts, fireworks, music, dinner, dancing and fun in the snow. Skiing until 12:05 a.m.!

Curious Comedy’s New Year’s Eve
